Penn English Celebrates Graduating Ph.D. and M.A. Students

On Friday, May 12th at 3 pm, the English Department gathered with colleagues, friends, and family to celebrate our recent master's and doctoral graduates at the Graduate Division of Arts and Sciences Diploma Ceremony. 11 of our graduate students walked to receive their diploma, and our own Herman Beavers, Julie Beren Platt and Marc E. Platt President’s Distinguished Professor of English and Africana Studies, gave the commencement speech.
