Destiny is a 5th year doctoral candidate in the Department of English. She studies Black feminist theory, 20th and 21st century African American women's literature and visual culture, and Black girlhood studies. Destiny earned her B.A. in English, with certificates in African American Studies and Gender and Sexuality Studies, from Princeton University. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
