I'm a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of Pennsylvania. I study medieval literature and medical culture with a focus on preventative medicine and regimen sanitatis literature. I work mainly on European texts in the later Middle Ages. My other interests include conduct literature, women's medicine, theater and drama, and authors who complain about their health.
