I am a PhD candidate in the English Department at Penn. My dissertation is titled "Tender Flesh: Race and Sensation in Late Medieval Literature."

 

I have been one of the coordinators of the Medieval and Renaissance Working Group, the Medievalists@Penn reading group, and the Gender and Sexuality working group, and I have taught courses through the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies program at Penn. An article on claustrophobia and Jewish horns in John Lydgate's The Pilgrimage of the Life of Man is forthcoming in Exemplaria
