Kelly Writers House will host a celebration of Al Filreis’s new book, 1960: When Art and Literature Confronted the Memory of World War II and Remade the Modern, next Thursday, December 2, at 6 p.m. Laynie Brown and Charles Bernstein will lead a conversation with Al about the writing of the book.
