Stacy Kastner is the Director of the Marks Family Writing Center and Associate Director of the Marks Family Center for Excellence in Writing. Kastner’s work focuses on student-centered, research-responsive, and cross-disciplinary writing pedagogy; institutional ecologies that support the ongoing professional development of educators teaching writing; and the autobiographical dimensions of writer identity, particularly the personal and political textures of literacy acquisition. Her research has received grant funding from the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation and the Conference on College Composition and Communication, and has appeared in Educational Studies, Feminist Teacher, Pedagogy, Praxis: A Writing Center Journal, Writing Center Journal, and the annual conference proceedings of the American Society for Engineering Education.
