Mason Wilkes

Mason Wilkes is a doctoral student in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania interested in 19th century British literature. His research focuses on how best to theorize modernity’s primary political actors (whether as individuals, corporations, nations, empires, continents) and how 19th century law and foreign policy shape such scalar questions. He is also interested in analytic philosophy (M&E, philosophy of science, and ethics), theories of international relations, and political psychology.
