Lily Weeks is a doctoral student in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in drama from all periods, and especially in the commercial theatre of early modern England. She enjoys thinking about performances of violence against the body, dissection, pregnancy, pre- and post-Reformation figurations of embodiment, and the fraught boundary between interior and exterior. She holds BAs in both English and History from the University of Utah, and an MA in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
