Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Literatures in English, Bryn Mawr College

Jess received their Ph.D. in English (with a concentration in gender, sexuality, and women's studies) from Penn in 2021. They are now a visiting assistant professor in the department of literatures in English at Bryn Mawr College. Their research focuses on twentieth and twenty-first century American literature and queer studies, with an attention to questions of method, affect, and reception.
