Frank Alan Laurie, Jr in 1955

Frank Alan Laurie, Jr. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1909, and the following year he taught English in Robert College, Constantinople.  Then he traveled and studied throughout Europe.

He joined the English Department as an Assistant Professor in 1920.

He retired June 30th, 1958.
