Department of English

The English Department came together on September 22, 2022 for the annual Collation event, welcoming the incoming class of MA and PhD students and formally kicking off the 2022–2023 academic year.

Department Chair Margo Crawford, Graduate Chair Heather Love, and GEA President George Perez delivered welcome remarks, and Assistant Professor Whitney Trettien presented a mini-lecture on her current research, exploring prison-based publications and the printing press of Philadelphia's Eastern State Penitentiary.
