AmLit: Relational Latinx/AsAm Works-in-Progress
  - Thursday, November 6, 2025 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Online (Zoom)
This meeting will be a hybrid event with UC Berkeley's Relational Latinx and Asian American Cultural Studies Working Group, co-hosted by AmLit.
Natalia Reyes and Miguel Samano will share excerpts from current dissertation chapter drafts. Reyes's pages will focus on racial fungibility in Nicolás Medina Mora's América del Norte, while Samano's pages will consider the figure of the spy and the detective in Chang-rae Lee's Native Speaker and Ernesto Quinoñez's Bodega Dreams as metonymies for interpretation and interpretability as such.
Please email Natalia Reyes at natreyes@sas.upenn.edu for readings and the Zoom link.
