Golkin room, Houston Hall

Join us for the inaugural launch of Penn's only experimental nonfiction journal! There will be LIVE READINGS from our writers! Some of the topics include: experimental choice-based theatre, the performance of dating, twinship, stalking, prison wards, a refugee's story, exoplanets, a Dick and Jane take on Betsy Devos, and more. Yummy snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Xfic is a student-run experimental nonfiction journal sponsored by the Kelly Writers House and the Creative Writing Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Jay Kirk's spring 2019 advanced creative nonfiction workshop English 145 served as the launch of Xfic, with students serving as both writers and editors.
