This event will feature a panel of graduate students who will discuss the forms of predoctoral funding available at the departmental and university level, including conference or research travel, teaching and writing fellowships, specific funding sources for historically underrepresented students, language training fellowships, summer funding, and more. The panel will comprise graduate students who have been awarded competitive predoctoral funding grants, fellowships, and scholarships. This event is open to all graduate students interested in learning more about the range of predoctoral funding available at the departmental and university level. It is not an event strictly geared towards those entering the job market and seeking sixth-year funding and dissertation completion fellowships.
