Join us at Writers House on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:00 PM, for a celebration of RECALCULATING,  the newest book by beloved Penn prof and poet CHARLES BERNSTEIN, published just last month by UChicago press. Bernstein's first full-length collection of new poems in seven years, RECALCULATING has already been called “as open as life itself” by Rae Armantrout; Eileen Myles says of the poems, they are “so simple they become radical.” The party will begin at 7:00 PM with a short reading, introduced by Al Filreis, followed by a reception. Come help us toast CHARLES with good friends, good snacks, and, of course, great poems!
