Wesley Yu

Wesley Yu received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley and his MA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He is currently a doctoral candidate in the English department at Princeton University.  His dissertation, Romance and the Rhetorical Topics in the Scholastic Middle Ages, studies the changes in vernacular poetic practice vis-à-vis the rise of propositional logic in the Middle Ages.  His project investigates such topics as theories of metaphor; argumentative form in the classical and late-antique tradition; vernacular poetic form (especially romance); and the philosophical registers of rhetoric.
