Patrick Wehner received his Ph.D. in American Studies from Emory University. His research interests include consumer culture, the business of media, and popular film. He is currently at work on a book project titled "Living in Style: Marketing, Media, and the Discovery of Lifestyles." As a Postdoctoral Writing Fellow and Lecturer, he teaches courses on narrative representations of consumer culture and on the emergence of the youth market for Hollywood film.
