Jordan Trice is an abolitionist scholar and poet interested in black geographies, black feminist forms, and abolitionist aesthetics. Currently, his interests coalesce around the idea of flight within the black radical tradition as a geographical, formal, and aesthetic project as well as a critical position.
Jordan graduated summa cum laude with distinction from Amherst college with a B.A. in English and Sexuality, Women’s, and Gender Studies where he wrote an honors thesis titled The Weather of Sexual Terror: Exhausting Language in American Slave and Neo-Slave Narratives.
Jordan is also the graduate student coordinator for Penn's Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship.
