Elizabeth Williamson's areas of specialization include material culture, performance studies and the religious history of Renaissance England.
She has presented papers at the Modern Language Association, The Shakespeare Association of America and The International Congress on Medieval Studies.
Her teaching interests range from early modern drama to the history of Western criminal justice, and she focuses primarily on helping students develop their own forceful, coherent arguments about literary texts.
