Art Casciato

Art Casciato has taught at Virginia Tech, the University of Virginia, Northeastern University, and Miami University of Ohio. He received his doctorate in American Literature from the University of Virginia in 1986. Before coming to Penn, he was Associate Professor of English at Miami University of Ohio. He has edited two books, and is the co-founder and former book review editor of the journal American Literary History. His publications include articles on the writings of Theodore Dreiser, William Styron, John Barth, Pietro Di Donato, and Tom Kromer. He is a former House Dean of Harrison College House, and is currently Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships.
