Aliki Caloyeras holds a BA from UCLA in English Literature, an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Houston, and an MA in Humanities and Social Thought with a certificate in Poetics and Theory from New York University.

Her teaching and research interests include 20th-century American literature, women’s writing, modernism, poetry, film, translation studies, and history of medicine and women’s health. Her poems, translations, and essays have appeared in Natural Bridge, Peregrine, Anamesa, and Mondo Greco.
