Modern and Contemporary Poetry (ModPo), free on Coursera, was founded by Professor Al Filreis at Kelly Writers House in 2012 and now has 69,000 people enrolled from around the world. To mark ModPo's 10-year anniversary, KWH held a daylong celebration and launched The Difference Is Spreading: Fifty Contemporary Poets on Fifty Poems, an anthology that grew from the courses, was edited by Filreis and Anna Strong Safford, and published by Penn Press.
