Lorene Cary, senior lecturer of creative writing at Penn, has been featured in an article in the recent edition of Penn Today. The article primarily discusses Cary’s new book, Ladysitting: My Year with Nana at the End of Her Century. This memoir tells the story of how Cary became a full-time caregiver to her grandmother almost overnight while detailing Cary’s family history and the history of racial tensions in America.
