Please join us on Friday, June 14th at 2 pm, when Kirsten Lee will defend her dissertation, "Scenes of Speculation: Abolition and the Movement Literatures of Black North American, 1783-1876".

The public defense will begin at 2 pm in the FBH Faculty Lounge. At 3 pm, Kirsten will convene privately with her committee. At 4 pm we will return to the Faculty Lounge for the reception, where we will toast the newly minted Dr. Lee!
