Penn English Program in London at King’s College Summer 2024, Information Session

Penn in London Summer Program (5 weeks, June 8 - July 13)
Knock out English major credits while spending a month in one of the most dynamic, diverse cities in the world!
Attend 2 plays per week while meeting London theatre artists
- Visit world-class art museums and historic sites
- Take a trip to Cambridge to visit one of the oldest universities in the world
Three exciting courses to choose from (students take 2 of 3):
- The London Theater Experience, where you’ll be immersed in London’s vibrant theatre scene (fulfills Sector 6 of the English Major and Sector III Arts & Letters)
- London in the Movies, examining London’s central place in the history of cinema (fulfills Sectors 2 & 6 of the English major)
- Cultures of the Book, exploring the history of libraries as it intersects with race, empire, and the digital turn (fulfills Sectors 1, 3, 4 of the English major and Sector IV Humanities and Social Sciences)
