Calling all first-year students! Come visit the Department of English table at the Welcome to the College Celebration during New Student Orientation. The English Undergraduate Chair and Associate Director of Undergrad Studies can't wait to talk to you about Penn English, and look forward to welcoming you with special giveaways.

Join Dean of the College, Paul Sniegowski and College advisors for an in-person welcome back celebration on Penn Commons outside Cohen Hall (where the College Office is located).  We will have live music, grab-and-go lunches, and fun giveaways!
PLUS – new this year for the Class of 2026 – an Exploration Expo, where you can talk with programs and departments about the many academic paths within the College!
Bring your questions for the Expo and for advisors who will be there to welcome you. 
You will attend the celebration in cohorts led by your peer advisor. The College will contact you later in August about your cohort’s timed entry to the celebration which will be scheduled either during the 11AM or 12PM hour.
