Ava Kim will be defending her dissertation, Trans / Nation: Gender and Democracy in an Age of Transition on Monday, 13 June 2022 from 3-5pm in the English Department Faculty Lounge in Fisher-Bennett Hall. Please join us! Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to attend the public portion of the defense (from 3-4pm) and to ask questions. After the conclusion of the private discussion with her dissertation committee (from 4-5pm), we will celebrate together the completion of Ava’s doctoral degree at 5pm.
