Howie Tam will be giving his dissertation defense on Monday July 15, 2019. The title of his dissertation is "Rewriting Vietnam: Forms of Nationhood in Diasporic Literature." His dissertation committee consists of Josephine Park, David Eng, and Amy Kaplan. The talk will be followed by a reception to celebrate Howie and his accomplishments.
