Keyana Parks will be celebrating the completion of, and giving a talk on her, her dissertation. The title of her dissertation is "The Absurdity of Colorblindness: Post Blackness in Twenty-first Century African American Satire to "Real(ly) Absurd: Post Black Paradoxes in African American Satire." Her advisor is Salamishah Tillet.

The talk will be given on July 11 from 12-2PM in the Faculty Lounge of Fisher Bennet Hall.
