Evelyn Soto’s dissertation defense will be held on July 2, 2019 in the Faculty Lounge. The title of Evelyn’s dissertation is “Beyond the Black Legend: Spanish-American Political Imaginaries in the U.S., 1800-1855. Evelyn’s faculty advisor is David Kazanjian.

The dissertation defense will begin at 2 PM and will be followed by a celebration reception in honor of Evelyn’s accomplishments.
