Catherine Innes-Parker is a Professor of Medieval English literature at the University of Prince Edward Island and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Schoenberg Institute for Manuscript Studies. An expert on women's literacy and manuscript ownership, she is the author of numerous articles and editor of the recent volume Anchoritism in the Middle Ages: Texts and Traditions (University of Chicago Press, 2013).
