After assignments to strengthen students' skills in interviewing, researching, organizing, and writing arguments, essays and narratives the class will write a 3,000 to 5,000 word piece on a common topic. Students will then revise their papers until they are ready to be submitted for publication either here, within the University, or elsewhere. Students can expect to discover and develop their writing strengths and work on their weaknesses. We will emphasize the process.
