This course is designed to support and train 2nd-year Ph.D. students in English while they serve as Teaching Assistants to ENGL 1005, "Queer Politics, Queer Communities". Topics covered will include how to construct an assignment, how to lead a discussion, how to manage a classroom, how to give feedback on written assignments, and how to construct a syllabus, among others. This course is open only to 2nd-year Ph.D. students that are serving as Teaching Assistants.
