This course is designed to support and train 2nd-year Ph.D. students in English while they serve as Teaching Assistants to ENGL 0023, "Gender and Sexuality in US Popular Culture." Topics covered will include how to construct an assignment, how to lead a discussion, how to manage a classroom, how to give feedback on written assignments, and how to construct a syllabus, among others. This course is open only to 2nd-year Ph.D. students that are serving as Teaching Assistants.
