Penn English Alum Dr. Jennifer Snead Speaks with Current English Majors

On March 28th, Alum Dr. Jennifer Snead visited Fisher-Bennett Hall to meet with current undergraduates, discuss her career path after completing a BA in English here at the University of Pennsylvania, and explain how her time at Penn has helped direct her personal and professional interests over the years.
Speaker Bio
Jennifer Snead is a Strategic Project Director for Project ECHO, a global workforce support initiative founded at the University of New Mexico in 2003 to address disparities in healthcare and other critical services for rural and underserved populations. Based in Albuquerque, she supports grants, fundraising, and sustainability for the UNM ECHO Institute and its worldwide network of Project ECHO partners. Prior to joining Project ECHO, she was an Associate Professor of English at Texas Tech University - and prior to that, Director of Penn's Kelly Writers House. Jennifer received her Ph.D. in English from Duke University and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
