Rafael Walker, PhD student Graduate, receives MLA award. MLA's Gay and Lesbian Caucus selected his essay "Nella Larsen Reconsidered: The Trouble with Desire in Quicksand and Passing" for its 2016 Crompton-Noll Prize, which recognizes the year's best article in LGBTQ studies.
