ENGL 112.601
M 6:30-9:10

"Fiction writing is a quest into both the external world and one's internal landscape. In this course, writing exercises, class discussion of contemporary literature and the elements of process, and private conferences provide guidance for each student's unique exploration of content and style. Requirements include the production of three or more stories, revision of one or more stories, and class participation. The goal is for each student to push his/her fiction to a new level of craft." Writing samples should be addressed to and sent to or left in the English Department, 119 Bennett Hall, 34th and Walnut Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19104
