Hannah Arendt's work can be located at the intersection of philosophy, political science, Jewish studies, and even literature. This course will offer an overview of Arendt's ideas, focusing on perhaps her best known work, the Origins of Totalitarianism (1951) her essay collection Men in Dark Times (1968) and her controversal report on Eichmann in Jerusalem (1963).
