The Stories, Sounds, and Voices of Philadelphia
  • Monday, May 6, 2019 - 9:30am to 11:00am

Williams Hall, Room 616

Come to the work-in-progress showcase for “Podcasting: Narrative and Listening in the Digital Age.”

The students learned about the methods of oral history and documented the voices and sounds of Philadelphia.

Hear from a campus worker who moonlights as a ghost hunter, from a palliative caregiver, and from a man who, born in a Japanese internment camp, eventually presented testimony before Congress. You’ll also hear from some goats and about the fateful day the Eagles won the Super Bowl…. And much more!

This event is sponsored by the Price Lab for Digital Humanities and the Digital Humanities Minor.
