Lorene Cary is Distinguished Speaker at Villanova University's Africana Studies Program

Villanova University's Africana Studies Program Fall 2018 Distinguished Speaker Series will feature Lorene Cary, senior lecturer in the Creative Writing Program and English Department at Penn. 

Lorene Cary, author of the classic memoir Black Ice and the acclaimed novel The Price of A Child, will read from her newest project in her talk, “Fact in Fiction.” The lecture will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Speaker’s Corner, Falvey Library, Villanova University. This event, sponsored by the Africana Studies Program and Falvey Memorial Library at Villanova University, is free and open to the public.
