The English Department's 2018 Summer-in-London program is featured in the Penn Today article, "Exploring Shakespearian times in London." In an intensive interdisciplinary five-week course “Shakespeare: His Life, Art, and Times: Penn in London," Jim Schlatter, chair of the Theatre Arts Program, took undergraduate students to the heart of Elizabethan theater, including the restored Globe Theater, to gain an in-depth appreciation for the works of William Shakespeare where it all began.
