Peter Diamond

Peter Diamond is a third-year PhD student in English at University of Pennsylvania, studying seventeenth- and eighteenth-century poetry. He received his B.A. in 2020 from Brandeis University, where he graduated summa cum laude with the highest honors in English. At Brandeis, he was a recipient of the Provost's Undergraduate Research Fellowship, the Jerome A. Schiff Undergraduate Fellowship, and the Shalom Award for Undergraduate Research. This year, Peter serves as a co-coordinator of the Restoration to Victorian Studies Reading Group (ResVic) and a Graduate Resident Advisor at Lauder College House. He has assisted with the teaching of courses in English, psychoanalytic studies, and cinema and media studies at Penn. He is also a project manager for the Digital Beehive, a project dedicated to digitizing an eighteenth-century commonplace book, which is supported by the McNeil Center for Early American Studies; the Price Lab for Digital Humanities; and the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books, and Manuscripts.
