Peter Diamond

Peter Diamond is a second-year PhD student in English at University of Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. in 2020 from Brandeis University, where he graduated summa cum laude with the highest honors in English. At Brandeis, he was a recipient of the Provost's Undergraduate Research Fellowship, the Jerome A. Schiff Undergraduate Fellowship, and the Shalom Award for Undergraduate Research. He studies the poetry of the long eighteenth century, with particular interests in pastoral and georgic traditions, theories of the aesthetic, and the role of nostalgia in cultural production. This year, Peter serves as a co-coordinator of theĀ Restoration to Victorian Studies Reading GroupĀ (ResVic).
