Peter Emanuel Diamond

Peter Diamond is a PhD candidate in English at University of Pennsylvania, studying seventeenth- and eighteenth-century transatlantic literature. Currently, Peter is an Andrew W. Mellon Mid-Doctoral Fellow in the Price Lab for Digital Humanities. In 2020–2021 he was the John Louis Haney Graduate Fellow in English. He is also a project manager for the Digital Beehive, a project dedicated to annotating an early American commonplace book, which is supported by the McNeil Center for Early American Studies; the Price Lab; and the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books, and Manuscripts. From 2021–2023, Peter served as a co-coordinator of the Restoration to Victorian Studies Reading Group (ResVic). He has assisted with the teaching of courses in English, psychoanalytic studies, and cinema and media studies at Penn, and he is also a Graduate Resident Advisor at Lauder College House.
