Erin Cheng is a master's student in the English department at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests range from modern and postwar poetry to female bildungsroman (Victorian, ante/postbellum, and 20th-century American), and AAPI diaspora and Caribbean literature. Her research is particularly invested in poetry and poetics through a feminist, psychoanalytic, or (and) postcolonial lens.

Erin graduated magna cum laude from Scripps College in May 2026 with a BA (Honors) in English, minoring in Asian American Studies.
