Beth Kephart Sulit

 Beth Kephart is the author of fourteen books, including the National Book Award finalist, A SLANT OF SUN; the BookSense pick, Ghosts in the Garden; the autobiography of Philadelphia’s Schuylkill  River, Flow; and the critically acclaimed novels for young  adults, Undercover,  House of Dance, Nothing But Ghosts, The Heart is Not a Size, and Dangerous Neighbors. Her young adult novels, You Are My Only and Small Damages are due out in the fall of 2011 (Egmont USA) and the summer of 2012 (Philomel), respectively.  She is a winner of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts fiction  grant, a National Endowment for the Arts grant, a Leeway grant, a Pew Fellowships in the Arts grant, and the Speakeasy Poetry Prize, among  other honors. Kephart’s essays are frequently anthologized, and she has  judged numerous literary competitions. A frequent workshop leader and  the strategic writing partner in a boutique communications firm, Kephart is at work on a new historical novel for young adults, a novel for adults, and a memoir.  She maintains an award-winning literary/photography blog at:
