This section of ENGL 8000: Pedagogy is designed to support and train 2nd-year Ph.D. students in English who will serve as Teaching Assistants for ENGL 0011: Jane Austen and Adaptation: From Darcymania to Bridgerton. Topics covered will include how to construct an assignment, how to lead a discussion, how to manage a classroom, how to give feedback on written assignments, and how to construct a syllabus, among others. This course is open only to 2nd-year Ph.D. students who are serving as Teaching Assistants.
