The Mellon Writing Groups

The Mellon Writing Groups represent a ground-breaking venture for Penn's Writing Program and for the teaching of writing nationally. This unique program aims to expose students to new ideas about writing, familiarize them with the writing process, and give them experience writing in different genres and for different audiences while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance learning through the use of technology.
