Teaching Handouts

These are some of the more successful handouts I have developed to teach writing and literature in my courses. Some of them I wrote on my own, others I compiled using some of the sources I have linked on my teaching page.  Please feel free to use any of them in your own classroom.  You can either download them as Word documents or view them as PDF files (Adobe Acrobat or other PDF viewer required):

Pre-Writing/Invention
Guides students through the early stages of writing an essay and insists on the importance of free writing and other drafting techniques.
