I had the idea that if I searched "Thomas Hobbes," who died in
1679, I would find a cluster of reprinting in the late 1700s. I
made this assumption because Hobbes's writings had some influence
on the Founding Fathers. With that in mind, I thought that I would
find some reprintings around the Revolution and the early years of
the Republic.
