"The Lehigh LSJ graduate conference is excited to announce that Melanie R. Hill’s paper, “Left-Handed Sermons in a Right-Handed World: Triple-Consciousness, Black Women Preachers, and the Sermon as Literary Genre,” won the First Annual Prize for Best Conference Paper. The Committee felt that the paper contributed much to this year’s theme of intersectional theory, literatures, and social justice. Melanie recently defended her dissertation on the same topic. Thank you for sharing your work, and congratulations, Dr. Melanie Hill!"
