Mods is devoted to the discussion of cultural and literary problematics within modernism and twentieth-century studies. Primarily a forum to discuss works in progress -- by graduate students and faculty at Penn as well as by invited speakers -- Mods aims to create space for scholars of all levels to interact. Mods welcomes work that engages wide-ranging senses of modernity: from the late nineteenth century to the present moment, from high modernism to contemporary fiction. Mods frequently cosponsors events with the American Literature, Film Studies, Latitudes, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Poetry and Poetics, and Theorizing/Comparative Literature reading groups. For more information or to be placed on the Mods listserv, please contact one of the coordinators: Devin William Daniels at firstname.lastname@example.org or Alex Millen at email@example.com.
